Lionel Messi, a player for Barcelona and Argentina who is currently regarded as the best footballer in the world, had his left foot cast in solid gold.😲

After the World Cup 2022 Final in Qatar, the football superstar Lionel Messi shared a photo of himself with the World Cup trophy on his Instagram account. This photo went viral within hours after he posted it.

And after this Messi is all around the social media and among all i found an interesting post about Messi's golden foot cast 🦶⭐🪙

Messi's golden foot, which weighs 25 kg and is made of 24ct gold, was crafted by the famed Japanese jeweller Ginza Tanaka. It costs $5.3 million.

There are also two other gold pieces inspired by the player for sale. Messi’s golden footprint is available for $95,000 while the ‘Golden Foot Mini’, which is half the size of the life-size gold foot, is for sale at a mere $42,000.

The cast was taken toward the end of 2012. A portion of the sales proceeds will go to Messi's charitable organisation, which will thereafter provide relief to kids in Japan's disaster-stricken regions in 2011.
