Motorola has introduced the latest addition to its budget-friendly G Play series in the US - the Moto G Play 2024. Boasting a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, replacing the MediaTek Helio G37 from its predecessor. The device offers 4GB of RAM, supplemented by an additional 4GB of virtual RAM, running on the latest Android 13.
Enhancing the camera setup, the Moto G Play 2024 features a single 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Notable additions include stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a robust 5000mAh battery supporting 15W charging.
Secured by ThinkShield for Mobile and equipped with Moto Unplugged and the latest Moto Secure features, the device will be available in Sapphire Blue from February 8 at an affordable MSRP of USD 149.99 (Rs. 12,465 approx.). The Moto G Play 2024 will be accessible through various carriers and retailers, with a Canadian launch scheduled for January 26, 2024.
