Two brothers. Both professional footballers. Both played for Morocco. Both spent most part of their club career at French club Nancy.

Mustapha is eight years older. He played as an attacking midfielder for Morocco from 1993 to 2002, making 63 appearances and scoring 12 goals. He was named African Footballer of the Year in 1998. Besides Nancy, he played for clubs like of Sporting CP, Deportivo La Coruña, Coventry City and Aston Villa.

Youssouf played as a forward or attacking midfielder for Morocco from 2003 to 2012, making 64 appearances and scoring 16 goals. He was Ligue 2 top scorer in 2014-15 season while playing for Nancy. Besides Nancy, he played for clubs like Bastia and Rennes.

Mustapha served as Assistant Manager of the Moroccan national team from 2 May 2014 till 30 June 2022 and his son Samir Hadji currently plays as a striker for Luxembourgian club F91 Dudelange.
