My family with the cat they didn't want

I woke up last week with an urge to have a pet. Not just any but a rescue cat 😺 that I could watch grow up (also she'll swear her loyalty to me because I saved her life).

My family had been strictly against this idea. I've been asking my dad for a oet since I was 6 and every time his reply was the same- "We already have two. You and your brother" 💀💀. Very nice of you father dearest.

I got an Instagram DM that there was a cat on the verge of death and that it needed a handraiser (meaning you have to feed them, clean their poop and make sure they don't die). I quickly said yes not realising how difficult this was going to be.

I managed to hide her from my family for 12 hours before my dad saw the basket in my room with a room heater directed towards it. He was......not mad??? The weird part was that he came back an hour later and started showing me cat houses on Amazon 😳😳. I don't think I've ever been so surprised in my life.

Its been great (the poop cleaning hasn't been 💩). Knowing that if it wasn't for me then she would've died pushes me to scrub her poopy towels despite the smell. I'll definitely keep you guys updated!!!
