There are many beautiful places in Afghanistan, and it is very hard to choose a favourite. But, if it were necessary to choose one, I would like to say Mazar Sharif. There, we have the shrine of prophet Ali "Blue Mosque" it is a mesmerizing place to see and particularly in sunsets, it acquires a beautiful aura around itself, that will make you astonished. Maulana Jalaludin rumi amusement park is also one of the favorites, it has many enjoyable rides, and is a perfect place to let go and rest. The Hairatan town  which is a town currently being built, it sits along the Amu river and is one of the major transporting, shipping and receiving locations in Afghanistan. It is also an official border crossing between the people of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. So mazar is not only a beautiful place but also a politically important place. Most of all, the journey to mazar e Sharif is the most beautiful sight you will ever see, it passes from several mountains of various shapes, sizes, and in winters it takes a beautiful white scene to itself because of the snow and it is the most thrilling to see. I have many memories in Mazar e Sharif, we had a visit there in 2016, we visited many beautiful places, and in general people in Afghanistan are so hospitable, so we stayed in one of our acquaintances' house. It was a memorable journey, that is why I choose mazar e Sharif as my favorite.
