Mysore Pak Recipe| Indian Sweets| Soft Mysore Pak
Ghee Mysore pak as the name suggests, in a famous recipe from mysuru in karnataka. This sweet involves three main ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 cup gram flour
150ml ghee
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
Instructions:
1. Roast ge flour in a pan on medium flame for 10 minutes to make sure there's no raw smell.
2. Seive the roasted flour into a large bowl and keep it aside.
3. Heat ghee in a tempering pan and transfer half of the melted ghee to the flour bowl once it cools down.
4. Mix it well until the flour mixture becomes smooth and lumps- free.
5. Apply ghee to all the sides of a tin and keep aside.
6. Pour water in a pan and add sugar to it. Let the sugar dissolve.
7. Transfer flour and ghee mixture to the sugar syrup and mix. Gradually add ghee and keep mixing it.
8. Cook for 10 mins and low flame and add the remaining ghee. Cook until it becomes a thick mass.
9. Mix well and transfer it to the tin greased with ghee. Spread it evenly and apply ghee on the top.
10. Set it for 2 hours , remove from the tin and cut into small pieces with desired shape.
11. Traditional soft mysore pak is ready to be served. 😍❤
