FUKUOKA (JAPAN): The epitome of Indo-Japan cultural exchange and friendship – the annual Namaste Japan Fest is back with a bang in the year 2021, the third year in the row.
Being organized this time on virtual platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Google Meet, and Zoom by the Japan-based Fukuoka Overseas Student Association (FOSA) and Namaste Japan Fest Executive Committee, it is the 3rd edition and is starting on March 20.
The virtual event would have programs around calligraphy, origami, Japanese Kimonos & Yukata, Suji, Rice Ball Making, etc. The artists participating from Japan and India would submit their pre-recorded video footages which will be played during the event. These performances would include Japanese Drum, and Dance and Songs from both countries.
Earlier two events were organized in New Delhi in 2019 and 2020.
The co-organisor of the event is Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation (Plan), and it is being supported by the Consulate General of India – Osaka-Kobe, Namaste Japan Fest, Namaste Fukuoka, and Fukuoka International Student Support Centre (FISSC).
Asian Community News (ACN) Network is the MEDIA PARTNER for Namaste Japan Fest 2021, and would promote the event in the Asia-Pacific region with its effective media coverage.
