According to officials, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese will be in Gujarat for a two-day visit starting on Wednesday. They will attend the first day of the fourth Test match between the two nations on March 9 at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.
Albanese will arrive at Ahmedabad Airport in the evening, ahead of Modi, and proceed directly to the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad to pay respects to Mahatma Gandhi, who resided at the Ashram during India's freedom struggle.
The Australian Prime Minister will be joined at Raj Bhavan by the chief minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, the governor, Acharya Devvrat, and other dignitaries.
On Wednesday night, Albanese has another engagement at a five-star hotel at an Australian university.Both prime ministers will go to Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday morning to attend the opening day of the fourth Test match between Australia and India.
According to Neeraj Badgujar, Assistant Commissioner of Police for Sector 1, Ahmedabad police have stationed more than 3,000 officers around the stadium and in the surrounding regions of the city in preparation for a massive influx of spectators to witness the cricket game.

All of the preparations connected to security have already been made by police. Over 1,500 buses will transport spectators to the stadium, and special parking arrangements have been devised to accommodate these buses and other cars, according to Joint Commissioner of Police N N Chaudhary.
