Kerala Academy of Sciences (KAS) is celebrating the National Science Day commemorating the epoch making discovery of Dr. C. V. Raman in 1928 , the "Raman effect", during February- March, starting from February, 23, 2023. The celebration, marking the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" and the growth of Science in India with Global perspective, "Global Science for Global well-being" is planned in 16 premier Colleges, spread in all the districts of the State.   

The second programme in the series is on 23rd February, 2023, 10.00 am at KSMDB College, Sasthamcotta, Kollam. The programme is efficiently  coordinated by Dr. M. Manju, Head of the Department of Zoology assisted by her colleagues .
