Nayeon's "NA" Makes Billboard History, Achieving Multiple Top 10 Chart Rankings
TWICE's Nayeon has set a new milestone on the Billboard 200 with her latest solo release.
For the week ending June 29, Nayeon's new solo mini album "NA" and its title track "ABCD" achieved impressive debuts across several Billboard charts.
"NA" debuted at No. 7 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, equaling the record previously set by her debut mini album "IM NAYEON" for the highest-ranking album by a female K-pop soloist in Billboard 200 history. When "IM NAYEON" was released, it was also the first K-pop solo album to break into the top 10 of this chart.
This new entry makes Nayeon the first female K-pop soloist to have two top 10 albums on the Billboard 200.
According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), "NA" amassed a total of 47,000 equivalent album units during the week ending June 20. This included 43,000 traditional album sales, making it the top-selling album in the United States for that week, and 4,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which equals 5.41 million on-demand audio streams over the week.
"NA" also topped three other Billboard charts this week: the mini album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, Top Current Album Sales chart, and World Albums chart.
Additionally, Nayeon's new title track "ABCD" debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, No. 34 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 54 on the Global 200.
Furthermore, Nayeon re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 9, marking her sixth non-consecutive week on the chart as a soloist. She holds the record for the highest-ranking female K-pop soloist on the Artist 100, where she previously peaked at No. 5.
Congratulations to Nayeon on her remarkable achievements!
