During his visit, he aimed to request assistance for an extensive array of development projects spanning infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, education, and more. A pivotal moment of his visit was the meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on September 23, where Nepal reaffirmed its unwavering pro-China stance on sensitive issues such as Taiwan and Tibet, as reported by China's official Xinhua news agency.
Prime Minister Prachanda reiterated Nepal's commitment to recognizing Taiwan and Tibet as integral parts of China's territory and pledged that Nepal would not permit its territory to be used for activities that threaten China's sovereignty and security. This stance was described as "firm and unshakable."
President Xi Jinping, in response, emphasized the deepening friendship and partnership between Nepal and China.
