New chapter in the identity of Varanasi, Namo Ghat built  in the name of prime   Minister, Narendra Modi .A new chapter has beea dded in the history of Varanasi ( Parliamentary Constituency of PM) situated on the banks of 88 ghats, at present.  between Varuna and the confluence of Asi river, covering  7 km long ghats on the banks of the Ganges, introducing different regions, communities and cultures . Now a new ghat as a spiritual identity, 'Namo Ghat', has been fully built .Namo Ghat is the only one among all Ghats which is connected by road, water and air.  This Ghat dedicated to Surya Namaskar, which is fully recognized as the identity of Indian cultural and spiritual lifestyle. This new ghat with colored laser light in the evening, has become prime center of attraction for locals. Cultural programs are also organized here from time to time. It is adjacent to GT road , Ganges and a hellipad is also made here for convenience of VVIPs to attend Ganga Aarti and view riverfront  by Ganga route on cruise.
