As the Super Tuesday 2024 results pour in, Nikki Haley has won the Vermont Primary Elections! With this win, Haley has won her first state during Super Tuesday, which has been dominated by former president Donald Trump.

NYT has called the state of Vermont in favour of the former South Carolina governor. A ↓ APP called by NYT, Haley has won with 50 percent of the votes as Trump trails with 46 percent of the votes. As called by Associated Press, Nikki Haley secured 49.7 percent and Donald Trump trailed with 46 percent votes.

Vermont is the former UN Ambassador's second win and first Super Tuesday win. Haley earlier won the Washington DC primary and broke Trump's winning streak. Haley also created history by becoming the first woman to win in a Republican primary election.

Despite Haley's win, Trump has and is expected to sweep Super Tuesday. The former president has already won in 11 states - Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama, Maine, Arkansas, Texas, Minnesota and Massachusetts.

Counting for Super Tuesday is underway in Utah. For California, the polls are about to close soon. Another state - Alaska - will be closing its caucus at midnight.
