The inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre at Mumbai was a star studded affair with several Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities attended the grand launch on 1 April.

But the highlight of the show was Nita Ambani's performance. She did a special performance at 'The Great Indian Musical: Civilisation to Nation'.

She did a choreographed act to Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram.

It was good to see her on stage performing.

Nita Ambani started her Bharatnatyam career at the age of 6. She was a professional Bharatnaytam dancer.

It was during one of her dance performances when the late Dhirubhai Ambani saw her for the first time.

After seeing Nita's beautiful performance for the first time, he thought of asking her hand for his elder son, Mukesh.

That's how she got introduced to the Ambani family and become the lady.

However, Nita laid one condition to marry Mukesh and asked the Ambanis to let her work post-marriage, and they agreed.

But inspite of being an entrepreneur and handling part of the Ambani business, she has always been the Sanskari bahu to the Ambani's. She became the Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, Dhirubhai Ambani International School,  and the owner of the IPL cricket team, Mumbai Indians.

She also has been a doting mother to her three kids, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani and Anant Ambani, and has aced every role of her.

Inspite of everything she wasn't seen performing much the art she is gifted with, the skill of her dancing.

She graced the event by her performance, hopefully the leading Ambani lady will be seen utilising her skill and performing more, as now her kids are settled, and her business is also flourished, with her children also have taken over the Ambani empire.

Hopefully we will be able to see her performing more, as now her to-be-daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant also a dancer.

So together both can perform, and continue the culture and with their skills grace us.
