A disorder in which tissue similar to the lining of your uterus (endometrial-like tissue) grows outside of your uterine cavity (on ovaries, pelvic lining).

You may have the following symptoms:
+ Pelvic pain
+ Painful periods
+ Heavy menstrual bleeding or bleeding between periods infertility
+ Pain during sexual intercourse
+ Discomfort with bowel movements
+ Lower back pain

There's no permanent cure for endometriosis but it can be managed by certain treatment options including:
+ Hormone Therapy
+ Hormonal Contraceptives
+ Surgery or Hysterectomy
