There has been a lot of choas in the Manipur and the for the past 18 days about seven battalions of the Assam Rifles are deployed in South Manipur.
But our soldiers have not received any fresh ration as people in Meitei area are allegedly blocking supplies from reaching the camps of the force.
The Meiteis have been accusing the Assam Rifles, the longest-serving paramilitary force in the state, of being partisan and siding with the Kukis in the ongoing conflict.
Meitei groups have also accused the Assam Rifles of supporting illegal poppy cultivation in the Kuki-dominated hills, turning a blind eye to “illegal immigration” of Kuki-Chin tribes from Myanmar and not acting with alacrity to save Meitei villages from arson during the initial days of the conflict last month.
The Assam Riffle accuse the Meitie groups of siding with the Kukis and as they are adamant they will not allow trucks to pass through.
Much of the ration is rotted in the trucks.
Is it fair for the Paramilitary forces to not their ration? They have been in the violence hit Manipur, trying to keep everybody safe and situation calm.
And they're not even getting their ration.
