Some white discharge during sexual activities is expected. Typically, it's brought on by sexual arousal and isn't accompanied by pain. But discharge after sex?
The question is - Is it Semen or Cervical Mucus?
Semen & Cervical Mucus often gets mixed up, especially if semen is ejaculated inside vagina. But this is how you can differentiate them!
1 Semen - Produced in testicles & contained in seminal vesicles, urethral & prostate glands. Contains sperm cells, enzymes and protein. Whitish in colour & consistency is thick but not stretchable.
2 Cervical Mucus - Produced in cervical lining and is mostly made up of water, glycerol, other electrolytes & minerals. It's colour can be compared to egg whites . It can be thick or thin in consistency depending upon ovulation period.
Now all the confusion is clear !
