The beautiful province of Nuristan was registered as the third national park of Afghanistan. The governor of this beautiful province posted this on his Facebook page: "Nuristan is announced today as a national park and wildlife reserve." With the announcement of the national park, this province can be considered one of the significant tourism capacities and attract thousands of domestic and foreign tourists every year.
Nuristan province is located in eastern Afghanistan and has a large forest area. The province's area is about 9267 square kilometers, and its population is estimated at 163 thousand people. The region also has eight districts. With the establishment of a national park in the area and implementing various cultural and tourist programs, this province can be considered one of the leading tourism centers in Afghanistan.
Earlier, Band-e-Amir in Bamyan province was registered as the first national park in Afghanistan. The Wakhan area in Badakhshan province was recorded as the second national park in Afghanistan.
It is hoped that with the spread of peace and security throughout Afghanistan, the potential of Afghanistan's tourism industry will be further exploited, which could increase incomes and create employment for civilians.
