Electric vehicle manufacturer, Ola Electric is working on a self-balancing technology for two-wheelers sold in India. Sharing the details on social media, the brand's CEO Bhavish Aggarwal confirmed that the brand is working on the new technology that the brand will employ in its new model, the 'Ola Solo'. Being called "India's first autonomous electric scooter", Aggarwal also mentioned that it would be the brand's first fully autonomous Al- enabled electric scooter.
Ola Solo electric scooter will be loaded with AI capabilities meant to make the EV smarter and safer. The electric two-wheeler will be powered by an in-house developed chip, which the brand has named LMA09000. The scooter uses an adaptive algorithm, JU-GUARD which can learn from every ride and can use the data to increase the efficiency, and performance of the EV.
Ola Solo has multiple features, including a multilingual voice interface. It is powered by Krutrim's Al technology, allowing users to interact in 22 languages. Safety and security are top priorities, as Solo uses facial recognition technology to activate the helmet and ensure rider's protection.
Solo also integrates into urban life through its 'Human Mode, enabling the rider to interact with other vehicles. The scooter also enhances safety with vibrating seat alerts, providing subtle cues for potential hazards or upcoming turns.
