This could not have gone more wrong.

The total global figure of coronavirus cases is over 100 million, with more than two million deaths.

The US has reported the highest number of cases, crossing 27 million.
Five of the top 10 countries in this list are European countries and the UK.
India and Brazil rank no. 2 and no.3 with 10.3 million cases and 9.5 million cases respectively.
