OnePlus 12R will launch later this month as a sidekick to the flagship OnePlus 12.
It's equally awaited though, especially after the success of OnePlus 11R. The latter was one of the best phones in its price category last year.
In fact, I will go on to say that it was the best phone under Rs 40,000 in 2023.
So, hopes are high with the OnePlus 12R too. It should offer everything a user expects on a mid-tier flagship - great cameras, excellent displays, and a reliable chip. But, will all these upgrades also bump up the OnePlus 12 price in India or will it still cost under Rs 40,000.
Well, the phone is expected to borrow OnePlus 11R's 1.5k AMOLED panel and 100W charger but is likely to be equipped with a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. There will be some other upgrades too and that may have some effect on the pricing of the phone. But, that's where things get interesting.
