OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone maker has recently confirmed that the OnePlus 12 flagship device is all set to launch in its homeland on December 5.
The news comes days after the first announcement that the company will host an event next month where it may release the OnePlus 12.
With the poster, the company also showcased the design of the phone. The handset is visible in three shades - White, Black, and Green (with a textured finish). The rear cameras will have the Hasselblad branding, as is visible in the images. The OnePlus logo will sit in the middle of the back panel.
According to FoneArena, the Alert Slider will be present on the left side of the frame. Beyond the OnePlus 12, the company may introduce the OnePlus 12R 5G (with a different name) and 2. Meanwhile, the phone maker has confirmed a few specifications of the handset, and the rest has been leaked by the rumour mill.
The device will have a 6.8-inch 2K BOE OLED 120Hz curved screen with a peak brightness of 2,600nits and a Display P1 chip. Under the hood, it will run on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. As for the storage, it may offer up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The OnePlus flagship could boast a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Moving to the optics, the company has confirmed that the device will have a 50MP Sony LYT-808 OIS sensor and a 64MP OV64B telephoto sensor for 3x optical zoom. A 48MP ultrawide sensor may tag along in the setup. Plus, a 32MP selfie shooter may also be present on the device.
