Opportunity knocks

With the news of Granit Xhaka out of the team today presents a real opportunity for one of these two to prove their worth to this team.

We should have the strength to be able to turn over Southampton with whoever in LCM but today could signify who Arteta trusts for the rest of the season. I have no doubt that we will come unstuck at moments during this run in so Arteta will have to shake things up.

I personally believe and think that Vieira will be the man trusted today but he needs to prove his worth. The ideology of having two 10’s either side of Partey is perfect on paper but is yet to come to fruition.

Irrespective of what happens today it’s so imperative that Xhaka is back for City so not risking him today was necessary. For once this season I’d just like to face the best with our strongest team. Win tonight and go 7 points clear, let’s get it.
