After the viral video of Muzaffarnagar teacher, people are outraged and shocked by seeing this torture on a young boy.
National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has taken cognizance of the matter and issued notice to the District Magistrate for details of the school. The Child Rights Body has sought to know if the teachers in the school have been provided training on how to conduct with students.
The children's family are scared told local reporters that he won’t send his child to the school nor is he planning to file a case. “I will not send my child to that school again and they will return the fee that I have submitted. A settlement has been reached that no complaint would be filed. The teacher has created animosity between the children,” said the boy’s father.
What state we're in? That irrespective of being tortured and crimes people are scared to file a complaint.
As per media reports, the school is registered under the name Neha Public School for classes 1 to 5.
Authorities are investigating what standards of education and displine is followed in the school and if any irregularities are found, action will be taken.
“It is clear in the video that the teacher is instigating the children to beat a child… The school received affiliation in 2019; we will check if it was renewed and if the school was being run as per standards set by the government.”
Commenting on the viral video to ANI, the teacher said that she had been misinterpreted and had no intention of making any personal attack on the child. 'The child's parents had asked me to be strict with him, so I was scolding him for not learning his lessons. Since I am physically challenged, I asked other kids to give him a slap or two. The video that was made viral was edited and cut and doesn't show the entire conversation. The child's uncle made the video,' she said.
