With days away from the grand inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the preparations have now reached the final stages. The Vedic rituals for the 'Pran-Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla are scheduled to start from January 16, a week before the main ceremony.
With days numbered for the big day, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has also been sharing information about the preparations for the event.
With limited invitees, Ram Mandir will be inaugurated on January 22, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi among other leaders. Thousands of seers from across the country have been invited for the ceremony and the invitees also include families of the labourers who erected the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
During this period, special arrangements are being made to welcome more than 11,000 guests and invitees.
Devotees arriving in Ayodhya from January 12th will receive a commemorative token related to Lord Ram from the Sanatan Seva Nyas.
According to Shivom Mishra, a disciple of the founder of the Sanatan Seva Nyas, this token, related to Lord Ram, will be presented as a gift to the guests, including prasad and a token of Lord Ram after their darshan.
Mishra explained that the gift for the guests would consist of two boxes. One box will contain prasad, a besan laddu made from ghee obtained from cow's milk, and a sacred tulsi leaf, according to the Ramanandi tradition.
The second box will include items related to Lord Ram, such as the soil that emerged from the sanctum of the temple during its foundation ceremony, Ayodhya's soil, and water from the Sarayu River, as a memento.
Additionally, a brass plate and a silver coin associated with the Ram Temple will be given along with a special bag that has been prepared to hold these two boxes, which will showcase the history of the Ram Temple.
