Despite losing the openers in the powerplay, skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan tried stabilizing the innings at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Pakistan. Though after scoring 44 runs, Rizwan lost his wicket due to a direct hit by Nepal's Airee.

Thereafter, Babar spent some time on the pitch with Iftikhar Ahmed, which bore some fruits. After 30 over the momentum just changed, as both the batters played an explosive innings, showing no mercy to the Nepal bowling attack.

Skipper Babar not only hit his 19th century the  but also completed 150 runs in the match. Apart from this, Iftikhar Ahmed also completed his maiden century and remained not out.

By the end of 50 overs, Pakistan put a massive score of 342 runs on scoreboard after losing 4 wickets.

After a thunderous batting shown by the Pakistani skipper Babar Azam and hitter Mohammad Rizwan, its bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Nawaz showcased an excellent piece of bowling attack.

The Pakistani bowler made it difficult for the Nepal batters to stand on the pitch and the team lost wickets one after another. By 23.4 overs, Nepal could mange to score just 104 runs and were all out. With this, Pakistan defeated Nepal by 238 runs.

For Pakistan, Shadab Khan was the most successful bowler taking 4 wickets, followed by Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf -- 2 wickets each, and Neseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz -- one wicket each.
