Park Shin Hye Transforms Into Dual Personas in New Teaser for "The Judge from Hell"
SBS’s highly anticipated drama “The Judge from Hell” has unveiled a character film spotlighting Park Shin Hye’s performance!
In this new fantasy romance series, Park Shin Hye takes on the role of Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell who inhabits the body of a judge. Upon encountering the dedicated detective Han Da On (played by Kim Jae Young), who tirelessly works in a world more unforgiving than hell itself, Kang Bit Na embarks on a journey to truly become a judge.
The freshly released character film showcases the dual nature of Park Shin Hye’s character. It begins with Kang Bit Na dressed in a grayscale suit, set against a stark black-and-white backdrop. With a blank expression, she remarks, “The human Kang Bit Na. She seems to have lived diligently. But in the end, she’ll get stabbed and die. So why did she struggle so much? Life is fleeting, right?”
As the scene rewinds, giving the impression of time reversing, the focus shifts to a more assertive Kang Bit Na. She adopts a colder demeanor and asks, “What? Are you asking if I’m Kang Bit Na? Are you wondering who you have been talking to until now?” Her tone blends playfulness with arrogance, igniting viewers’ curiosity.
The character then reveals, “Listen closely. My name is Justitia (personification of justice in judicial systems). I’m the judge for murder cases.” With her gaze turning a glowing violet and her attire changing to a striking wine color, she declares, “From now on, the real trial—to hell—begins!”
