Nice
Personally, I think that it's a great show and should remain as a reminder to those who are victims of grooming and sexual abuse. I felt sorry for Eric Walker when Claire ruined his life as a teenager and how he suffered with guilt, bitter regrets, and sorrow because of the trauma he had experienced at 17. It was heartbreaking that the illicit affair with his teacher hurt those who truly cared about Eric, including his mother, his two younger brothers, and his ex-girlfriend Alison. Even though he moved on with his life, what happened to him when he was a victim of Claire's grooming ruined his life for good. He's struggling to mend fences and even form strong, healthy relationships with his family and friends again.
I don't know if there will be a second season of the show in the near future. As Claire has already moved on and has become a loving wife and mother, she still has to live with the guilt and disappointment of what she did to Eric and herself ten years ago. The second season should no longer focus on Claire but solely on Eric and how he tries to move forward with his life. It should also be the last season and series finale of the miniseries, as well as a reminder to many victims of grooming that it's never too late to heal from the traumas of the past, move forward one step at a time, and still enjoy the fun moments in life that the future holds in store for them.
