Alcohol may effect your response to covid vaccine. Although there is no sure shot evidence according to CDC but the consensus is to avoid alcohol for sometime before and after taking a Covid vaccine. Experts in Russia and the United Kingdom have warned that people should avoid drinking alcohol for a brief period of time before getting vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.
However, experts in the United States say casual or moderate amounts of alcohol consumption will not affect immune response.
Binge drinking and heavy alcohol use should be avoided around time of vaccination and for general health.
