Syzmon Zurkowski is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Fiorentina and the Poland national team.
A central midfielder by trade, he was in loan at Empoli for the past couple of seasons.
Club Form-
Zurkowski isn't regular for his club Fiorentina so far this season. The Polish midfielder has just played two Serie A matches and an equal number of Champions League games, with each of those appearances coming from the bench.
A versatile midfield who could also playe in the attacking and defensive midfield positions, Zurkowski has struggled to nail down a starting spot so far at Fiorentina after returning from his fruitful loan spell last season.
International Form-
Zurkowski is a recent addition to the national team setup, making his debut for Poland in a friendly match as a starter against Scotland just this year
So far, he's made 7 appearances for the national team, emerging always as an option recently for national team boss Czesław Michniewicz.
Tournament Prediction-
Zurkowski has been getting a fair amount of game time so far in 2022 for Poland. However, after failing to secure a starting spot so far at club level, he is not expected to start games for Poland at the World Cup.
However, he would possibly play some part in the tournament, being a versatile and solid utility man for the national team.
