Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced his commitment to undertake an 11-day anushthan (rituals) leading up to the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at Ayodhya's Ram temple on January 22. In a video message on the social platform X, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent the people of India during this auspicious occasion and sought blessings.
Despite a hectic schedule, the Prime Minister is rigorously following the detailed rituals outlined in Hindu shastras for the 'pran pratishtha' of the deity's idol. This includes specific rules and a daily routine featuring Brahma Muhurat Jagran, prayers, and a simple diet.
The main consecration ceremony, scheduled for January 22, will be performed by priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit. Vedic rituals will commence on January 16, a week before the main event. A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will be organized, feeding thousands of devotees. Tent cities are being set up to accommodate the anticipated 10,000-15,000 attendees.
Local authorities are working on enhanced security measures and logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all devotees and VVIP guests invited from India and abroad.
