PM Modi met Team India in their dressing room after the ICC World Cup Finals at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 19th November.

The PM spoke to the players and encouraged them for their performance throughout the tournament.

A team member said "The Prime Minister told us that since we all had given our 100 per cent, we shouldn’t be disappointed. He said win or loss wasn’t in one’s hand, what was important was we played well and tried hard". [Indian Express]
