On May 6, 2021, the POP Nigeria Team visited the Dean of Student Affairs and the Student Union Government (SUG) of the Enugu Campus, University of Nigeria for the POP Nigeria Initiative in the South East. The team was accompanied by members of Plogging Nigeria, and of the Student Christian Movement (SCM) of Nigeria.

The Dean, Dr. Elochukwu, an environmentalist, embraced the project. “There is a lot to be done, and you and your team came at the right time,” he said.
