Preparations are on to renovate about 700 religious places in Kashi. These include Hindu temples as well as Jain, Buddhist temples and Gurudwaras. Temples and Gurudwaras will be renovated to increase the access of tourists to the tourist places of the district. The Tourism Department has conducted a survey of the religious places of Kashi for this. Along with the renovation of Buddhist, Jain temples and Gurudwaras, the literature related to them will be made online. These religious places will be equipped with QR codes, so that tourists can get detailed information online. In the first phase, 300 religious places have been renovated. According to Deputy Director Tourism RK Rawat, after collecting literature related to the religious places of Kashi, their mythological beliefs and conducting a survey, a proposal has been sent to the government. Along with collecting information from religious, archaeological experts, the field survey went on for seven months. In the first phase, 300 temples in Kashi have been equipped with QR codes and their related literature has been digitized. Now in the second phase, information about about 700 mythological-literary temples and heritages of Kashi will be collected and they will be rejuvenated
