Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to US President Joe Biden on phone on Monday. PM Modi told about this conversation on his X handle. PM said that many regional and global issues were discussed between him and Biden. Among these, the most important were the discussion on the situation of minorities in Bangladesh and the situation in Ukraine. PM Modi said- "We had an in-depth conversation on many regional and global issues, including Ukraine. I expressed full support for the return of peace and stability in Ukraine. We also discussed the situation in Bangladesh and the return of normalcy in the country and ensuring the safety of minorities, especially Hindus.It is noteworthy that the violence against minority Hindus in Bangladesh is not stopping. Not only this, many reports have also come about the removal of Hindu employees from government departments, universities and major institutions. While a series of demonstrations are going on in many cities of India regarding the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, in many cities of America the Hindu community is busy pressurizing the American government on this issue.
