Prison Break was one of the first TV series I ever watched, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While I initially thought it was just a longer version of The Shawshank Redemption, I was proven wrong. The first three seasons were truly captivating, with a plot that may have moved at a slow pace, but was nonetheless engaging.
What I found particularly compelling was the cast, especially the character of Theodore Bagwell, also known as T-Bag. His portrayal was simply brilliant. Although the fourth season was somewhat of a departure from the original premise and received its fair share of criticism, I personally felt it was an acceptable continuation of the story.
The fifth season, which was released after a seven-year hiatus, was a brilliant addition to the series. All things considered, I believe Prison Break is an excellent show that is definitely worth watching. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys well-crafted, suspenseful television.
