It was heartening to see the British PM, the Football Association or FA, the London Mayor and others to make a concerted effort to pushback against racist trolls of three players on their skin colour after England lost the final of the UEFA Cup.

Institutional strength matters. Wish we see serious pushback from those in power when a section of Indians indulge in xenophobic, racist, misogynistic and other kind of sectarian abuse.

If trolls sense a serious pushback then that deters them. But that is if they sense it and experience it. Kudos to Boris Johnson, Sadiq Khan and FA
