Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Presidents of Russia and Turkey, in a telephone conversation, condemned the attacks on residential areas, religious, and social facilities in Gaza as "unacceptable."
The Kremlin wrote in a newsletter that they expressed concern about the increasing civilian casualties in Gaza.
According to the newsletter, the two leaders discussed the Gaza conflict on Wednesday 25 October.
According to the latest reports, more than 5,300 people have been killed in Gaza and 18,000 have been injured.
The Kremlin's newsletter stated that Mr. Putin and Mr. Erdogan discussed Russia's efforts through the United Nations Security Council and Turkey's political and diplomatic actions to stop the bloodshed and ensure the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
