In the on-going, Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings IPL game, Shubman Gill & Co came out on top as they ran Rachin Ravindra out in the very first over courtesy David Miller.
Rachin Ravindra, who was previously dropped for four games by CSK, would have hoped to make his return count for both his team and himself. But instead, his fate had different plans for him as he walked back with a sagged face, disappointed in himself with just one run in his pocket.
Umesh Yadav bowled a good length delivery angling into the stumps and Ajinkya Rahane dabbed it towards the gully and ran for a single. David Miller or should I say Killer Miller came from the backward point, charging in and collected the ball and threw it straight from under his arms at the keeper's end.
Rahane's misjudgement costed CSK the big wicket of Ravindra who was just inches away from the crease despite his big dive. As the replays revealed, he did indeed fail to make it to the crease and thus 'OUT' displayed on the big screen. Rachin looked absolutely disappointed and heartbroken with himself as he walked back to the pavillion.
