This Diwali, Bollywood is witnessing a clash between Ajay Devgn's Thank God and Akshay Kumar's Ram Setu. 🔥
While both the films have been pitched as family entertainers, Ram Setu seems to have edged ahead of of Thank God in advance booking collections.👍
Ram Setu is looking at Rs 1.50 crore nett advance and about 75% of this will be for day one, the report further states. ✔️
Looking at the advance booking, trade predicts both films will open at much lower than Rs 10 crore nett. 💯
Ram Setu should be targeting opening day biz in the range of Rs 17 to 18 crore, which will be considered a fair start and this will happen only if the spots are in sync with pre-pandemic films. A number above Rs 20 crore will be accounted to be a good opening whereas a start below the Rs 15 crore mark will be considered to be low.😱😱
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn led film has done a business of 8.20 lakhs through day 1 advance booking as of now.✔️
For the unversed, the advance bookings for both films started on 20th October. Though none of the two have showed impressive advance bookings figures compared to the recent releases. 👍
