RAT fan
Despite the small size of this propeller, it has great meaning, as pilots and passengers do not want or prefer to see it emerging from the fuselage of the plane, as this means that there is a real problem in the cockpit and it is in a state of complete tension. When the engines stop in the air, this small fan comes out to take advantage of the air flow and rotates to generate electricity to supply the cabin with the necessary electricity to land as safely as possible. It is known as the RAT, short for Ram Air Turbine. The picture is of the RAT fan of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
