Ravi Kumar Dahiya who won a Bronze Medal at the 2019 World Wrestling Championship booked his place in the finals of the Tokyo 2021 summer Olympics thus assuring India another medal. He has also won 2 gold medals in the 2020 & 2021 Asian Wrestling Championships. He will now become the 4th Indian wrestler to win an Olympic Medal after KD Jadhav who won a bronze in 1952, Sushil Kumar who won a bronze in 2008 & a silver in 2012 & Yogeshwar Dutt who won a bronze in 2008 to win an Olympic medal. He made a great comeback against Nurislam Sanayev of Kazakhstan from a deficit of 9-2.
