Royal Challengers Bangalore will look to secure a playoff spot when they host leaders Gujarat Titans in match 70 of the IPL 2023 on Sunday (May 21) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, with the match set to begin at 7:30 PM IST.

The RCB, led by Faf Du Plessis, and the GT, led by Hardik Pandya, will look to build on their recent victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

While RCB (14 points) has everything to play for with a top four spot on the line, GT (18 points) has already secured first place and a spot in Qualifier 1 thanks to their nine wins.

RCB started the season with a win over the Mumbai Indians, but then lost two straight games before going on a mixed run of six wins and four losses in their last ten matches, with their most recent result being a win over SRH.

Meanwhile, GT began the season with two consecutive wins followed by a defeat, but have since won 7 of 10 matches, the most recent being a win over SRH, which also secured their top spot in the points table.

The two teams will now meet for the first time this season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where several players, including RCB's Harshal Patel and GT's Hardik Pandya, will have a chance to set new records.
