• A simple yet delicious masala filling is applied between bread slices, along with a little cheese.
• Ingredients of Pav Bhaji Sandwich:
4 boiled potatoes
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, grated
1 green capsicum, finely chopped
4 Green Chillies, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp chaat masala
2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
4 cheese cubes
1 tbsp butter, for sauteing
Extra butter, as required
10 bread slices
Salt to taste
• How to Make Pav Bhaji Sandwich:
1. Boil potatoes and once cooled, grate them and set aside.
2. In a thick-bottomed kadhai, heat 1 tbsp butter and add ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chillies and onion. Saute for 2 minutes.
3. Add in the chopped capsicum, grated/ pureed tomatoes, chilli powder and pav bhaji masala. Saute for a few seconds.
4. Next, add grated potatoes, chopped coriander and mix well. Add salt to taste.
5. Turn off the heat and allow the pav bhaji filling to cool slightly.
