Kishore Kumar was born on 4 August, 1929 in Bengali family in Khandwa, Central Provinces (now in Madhya Pradesh) and named Abhas Kumar Ganguly. But after coming into the film world, he became Kishore Kumar from Abhas Kumar.Not Many know that Kishore Kumar never had received any vocal training and sang in many Indian languages like Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Malayalam, Oriya, and Kannada.
