India commemorates its 75th Republic Day, the annual parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi takes center stage with a distinct focus on women-centric themes - 'Viksit Bharat' and 'Bharat-Loktantra ki Matruka.' Breaking new ground, an all-women tri-services contingent, including troops from the Indian Army's military police, stands as a symbol of empowerment.

The celebration includes a remarkable display by over 260 women from CRPF, BSF & SSB performing daredevil stunts on motorcycles, showcasing bravery and determination through formations like Chandrayaan, Sarvatra Suraksha, Abhivadan, and Yog Se Siddhi.

France's President Emmanuel Macron, the chief guest, witnesses a French contingent march, accompanied by a refuelling aircraft and two Rafale jets. The Indian Air Force's fly-past features 46 aircraft, including the Tejas fighter jet in a formation of four, a historic first.

Fifteen women pilots, including six from the fighter streams, operate IAF platforms during the fly-past. 'Aavaahan,' a band performance, engages over 100 women artists playing various percussion instruments, adding a melodic touch to the celebrations.

The parade also boasts 16 tableaux from states and Union territories, each presenting a unique narrative. States like Arunachal Pradesh, Haryana, Manipur, and others showcase their cultural richness and contributions to India's diverse tapestry.

Republic Day 2024 stands as a vibrant tribute to the nation's progress, unity, and the indomitable spirit of its women, epitomizing the theme of 'Nari Shakti' on this historic occasion.
