Politics is heated over the suspension of 13 students at BHU. Former student leaders held a meeting at the Bharat Mata Mandir campus in Varanasi and talked about intensifying the movement. They also demanded that the BHU administration should withdraw its decision.A meeting of old student leaders of various universities and colleges of Varanasi was held today at Bharat Mata Mandir against the suspension of 13 students by the BHU administration for raising their voice against the alleged rape of an IIT BHU student. In this meeting, all called the action of suspension of students who raised their voice against the alleged rape as dictatorial and shameful and demanded its immediate withdrawal. All unanimously condemned the action of BHU and warned that if this suspension is not withdrawn, they will be forced to launch a big movement.
