Mohsen Rezaei, the captain of the Afghanistan National Taekwondo Team, won his third victory in the Hangzhou Asian Games. Moments ago, he defeated Kazakhstan's "Yeldos Yskak" in two rounds in the negative weight of 58 kg to reach the semi-finals of the tournament and secure the bronze medal.
Today, Rezaei firstly defeated Nurullah Muradov from Tajikistan by a margin, then he powerfully defeated "Siya Higashijima" from Japan, and in the quarter final moments ago, he defeated "Yeldos Yescak" from Kazakhstan in two rounds.
Rezaei won the first round 0-13 with complete authority and won the second round 7-9 to avenge his defeat in the previous round of the Asian Games against Yscak, to reach the semi-finals and secure the bronze medal.
In the semi-final, Mohsen must go to Siapchang with Jun Jang from South Korea. Rezaei is a taekwondo player who is expected by Afghan sports fans to win medals and championships in these competitions.
