These Ripe fruits are called Diplocyclos palmatus also commonly known as striped cucumber or native bryony. In Marathi it is called as Shivlingi due to it's seeds which represent the Lingam.

The green are the unripe berries and red ones the ripe berries of Mukia maderaspatana, also known as Madras pea pumpkin. It is supposed to be a climbing herb used in traditional medicine.
