India the World No. 1 ODI team India will face Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series next month.
All three matches are scheduled to take place at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on August 2, 4, and 7, respectively.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, B Sai Sudharsan, Rajat Patidar, Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Akash Deep are 10 players who were dropped from India's ODI team for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. The exclusion from the ODI side was a setback for Samson, who scored 108 runs in the last 50-over match for India, and Sudharsan, who amassed a total of 127 runs in three matches.
